Everyone should be granted flavourful, varied, high quality food, and the non-vegans who think vegan food is lower tier, fake food, are giving up on unexpected flavours and new ways to experience eating. So here are our heart-felt suggestions.
1) Kin
Kin is an absolute gem in the heart of London. This wholesome cafe is a cosy little corner away from the noise and hustle off one of London’s busiest streets. This little plant-based eatery is all that’s good: good food, good coffee and good people.
2) Wave
Wave is for those who love a good brunch and a good dessert. It’s stylish and cute, all focused on a selected menu of tasty dishes and a great bakery section: the cakes are a must try, also gluten-free friendly!

Sachdeva’s food is simple, delicious, and mostly vegan. There are tapas specials to choose from, or try the tastings menu! Strong suggestion, this one.
5) Club Mexicana
There’s an incredibly good spot in Soho where you can taste cruelty free Mexican food, and that’s Club Mexicana! A colorful environment and and a wholesome menu with ice-cold margaritas to die for. It’s tasty, spicy, saucy and cheesy like only Mexican food can – yes, cheeeeeesy!
6) Temple Of Seitan
A smart and fun name for an unapologetic fast-food spot that can’t leave anybody unsatisfied. The nuggets, the burgers and old school milkshakes, all of this environmentally conscious, is everything you can dream of. Sloppy, juicy street food you can enjoy with a clear conscience, ending up with a full, happy belly.
7) Beza
Traditionally Ethiopian cuisine is very vegan friendly, due to the fasts prescribed by the Orthodox Tewahedo Church, during which animal products are not allowed.
Beza offers a variety of authentic Ethiopian dishes so load up your injera, the sourdough flatbread, with delicious Misir Wot, Mung Beans, Beetroot and Potato, Tikil Gomen, and the spicy Kidney Beans.

An absolute must-try.
10) Gauthier
Alexis Gauthier turned his restaurant into fully vegan and everybody loved it. That’s it. A cruelty-free, unforgettable fine dining experience to the nines (and tens, who are we kidding), you can try the tasting menu – for when everything sounds too good, which is often the case here, or a la carte. Don’t overlook the desserts!
And now, the bakery shop!
